Marine Protection Film (MPF) will protect gelcoat, paint and other glossy surfaces by preventing scratches, swirls and chemical contamination. Salt, sand, and UV are no match.

Marine Protection Film is the number one recommendation for surface preservation. There is no other product that can protect the way marine protection film does because it is thick, but near invisible once installed. It will absorb scratches and most small impacts. Any marks inflicted upon the film will simply disappear with  the heat of the sun.  As long as an impact or scratch doesn’t go through the film it will usually self-heal. If the film were to be damaged to the point where it needs to be replaced, in many cases, the surface below is protected to the point where it doesn’t need repair.
